What to Expect for Assignments

From taking the Myth and Folklore class last semester, I have high expectations for all the assignments on the list. I know that they will all be good options to choose from and I love that there is so much opportunity to succeed such as extra credit and other make up assignments. I enjoyed all the reading assignments and storytelling from last semester so I really look forward to that!

Intorduction to Small Town Oklahoman

Hey! I'm Kasey Gill and I guess your here to read a little bit about myself. Well, I'm sorry but get prepared to be bored. Just kidding, my life isn't all that bad to talk about. I was been born and raised in the semi-small town of El Reno, Oklahoma, some 25 miles or so west of the Oklahoma City. During my four years there I began to fall in love with the thoughts and abilities of all things that science can offer the world. This started the basis of my higher level learning and future goals. Reading Notes: Ramayana Part D

Rama battles Ravana If you have looked at any of my past reading notes posts, or have taken a glance at my ideas for a storyboard, then you can mostly likely take a good guess and which story or stories were my favorite in this part of the Ramayana epic. If you guessed that the final battle between Rama and Ravana, you were correct! The three stories, Indra's Chariot, Battle of Rama and Ravana, and Ravana's Death were by far the greatest stories to me and ones that I could see myself retelling. The whole story comes full circle here. You have the hero Rama, the villain Ravana, finally duking it out in a final match together. Finally the god's initial plan comes full circle and can be completed. All Rama's friends that he had made to help him on his journey to get to this place come together.
