My favorite storybooks from past indian epics
I chose to use this image from Ali's story found at Flicker because
it is a tornado near Cordell and I have friends near there.

The first story book that came across my screen actually really interested me so I went ahead and checked it out a little more in depth. It was composed by Ali and is titled "Stories of the Wild West". Reading the introduction I was quickly grabbed by the author. The way it was written in first person, spoken by Sheriff Vishnu, really gave an interesting side to the storybook. This allowed the reader to give the Sheriff his or her own interpretation of the Sheriff like the voice and how he spoke. I also liked how certain words were used and the dialect of the story. This made it really seem like it was being told by an old time cowboy. The layout of the storybook was very nice, giving a good amount of visual aids for the reader, which were also nice.
If you would like to read the full storybook you can find it here.
The second story I came across was that written by Amber titled "Gambling and Curses Lose: Real Love Wins". I was first intrigued and drawn in by the title. My mom is a gambler and likes to go to the casino so I thought I might be able to relate a little to this story. I soon found out though that my initial thought of what the story was going to be like was wrong and that it was in fact a love story. I went ahead and checked it out and thought it was a well thought out and written story. There were around 5 stories including the introduction that was nice because it brought things full circle. I give Amber major props because sometimes with that many stories it can be difficult to tie them all togeather and make a cohesive story, but she did a great job. The design was lovely with many pictures and an easy reader interface. If you want to learn more about how this love story between Nala and Damayanti you can find it here.
The final story I read a little about was titled "Hogwarts: The Loyalty of Brothers" written by Katie. I first began my investigation because I just got done watching a Harry Potter movie this weekend. First off, right after entering Katie's page you get a nice photo of the Hogwarts dining and entertainment room which was visually amazing. Navigating around a little bit it was cool to see that Katie added a tab that was full of the characters that were to be found in the story book. This was a great idea to give readers more background on the characters that way they can maybe expect some things to happen, or maybe be more amazed when a twist is put into the story. I thought she did a great job of moving from story to story starting out with the characters first arriving at Hogwarts to an attack on the school to finally an ending scene and battle. If you would like to read more about Katies take on Hogwarts you can find it here.
